IFRS Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled IFRS Accountant to join a successful energy company. The ideal candidate will possess technical IFRS competency and have experience as a technical IFRS reviewer at a Big 4 or similar top audit firm. An expert-level grasp of financial statements is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements in compliance with IFRS standards.
• Conduct comprehensive reviews and analyses of financial statements to identify areas for improvement and ensure high-quality reporting.
• Collaborate with internal teams to apply IFRS standards to complex transactions and business scenarios.
• Provide expert advice and guidance on IFRS-related matters to senior management and other stakeholders.
• Stay updated on the latest IFRS developments and assess their impact on the company’s financial reporting.
• Assist in the preparation of regulatory filings and reports as required.

Key Requirements:

• Strong technical competency in IFRS.
• Proven experience as a technical IFRS reviewer with a Big 4 or equivalent audit firm.
• Expert-level understanding of financial statements and their application in the oil and gas industry.
• Ability to translate complex financial data into clear and concise reports for senior management.
