Cash Accounts Assistant

Our client is seeking a dedicated Cash Accounts Assistant to join their team in Northampton. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic finance team, where your responsibilities will include posting cash transactions, reconciling cash in transit, and assisting with balance sheet reconciliations. You'll also play a role in year-end audits, ensuring the financial integrity of the company.

Salary: £13 - £13.80 per hour

Location: Northampton

Contract Length: 3 months

Working Pattern : Hybrid (3 days a week onsite)

Responsibilities

• Posting cash transactions for CE entities
• Posting payment journals
• Reconciliation of cash in transit
• CE banks reconciliations
• Resolving discrepancies
• Supplier bank detail check and set ups
• Assisting with Balance Sheet Reconciliations
• Year-end audit assistance

Experience

• Strong numerical skills
• Attention to detail
• Experience in cash handling and reconciliation
• Understanding of balance sheet reconciliations
• Ability to resolve discrepancies efficiently
• Experience with year-end audits
