Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Bid Manager to lead and manage a diverse range of warehousing and transport tender opportunities across multiple sectors. This role offers the opportunity to engage with dynamic, forward-thinking colleagues from across the organisation, delivering vibrant bid-winning proposals. The successful candidate will enjoy a supportive work environment that prioritises innovative solutions and employee-focused initiatives.
Responsibilities:
As a Bid Manager, you will be at the forefront of managing a wide array of warehousing and transport tender opportunities. You will lead a virtual team of professionals from various departments such as Business Development, Operations Solution Design, Project Management, Finance, IT, HR and Commercial. Your role will involve writing articulate proposals that are centred around our customer's needs. You will also facilitate value proposition sessions to develop winning strategies that are integrated into submission documents. Your ability to track key outputs throughout the bid process will be crucial in this role.
Requirements:
The ideal Bid Manager will bring a wealth of experience in managing bids in both public and private sectors. She will have a proven ability to write confidently and persuasively at a high level. Her articulate communication skills will be matched by strong verbal presentation abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly PowerPoint and Word, is expected. The successful candidate will have experience operating at a senior level, managing multiple stakeholders effectively. Strong organisational skills, the ability to work under pressure, and flexibility to deal with change are also key attributes for this role.
