What you'll do:
As a Tax Manager, you will play an integral role in managing various aspects of the Group’s UK and international tax compliance obligations. You will review direct and indirect tax returns, provide support for audited financial statements, maintain a compliance calendar, assist with tax payments management, liaise with advisors on transfer pricing documentation, monitor international tax developments, and provide tax advice on miscellaneous matters. Your role will require strong analytical skills, attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to multi-task effectively.
Review direct and indirect tax returns prepared by outsourced service providers for the management companies in the Group Provide tax support for audited financial statements, including preparation of numbers and disclosures Maintain and manage a compliance calendar to ensure tax filing requirements are met in all locations Assist with management of tax payments in various jurisdictions, including direct and indirect taxes, as well as withholding tax and employment taxes Liaise with advisors on preparation of Transfer Pricing documentation and reporting requirements under CBCR, FATCA and CRS matters including registration and compliance Monitor international tax developments and other projects as directed, for example considerations for addressing new markets/jurisdictions Work with local advisors where appropriate to provide tax advice on miscellaneous matters
What you bring:
The ideal Tax Manager will bring at least five years of relevant tax compliance and reporting experience within a professional services firm. Experience working in an in-house tax team is preferred. You should hold a relevant recognised qualification such as ACA or CTA. You should be process and improvement-oriented, with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently. Excellent analytical skills, judgement, technical proficiency with MS Excel, and exceptional organisational skills are essential for this role.
At least 5 years of relevant tax compliance and reporting experience within a Professional Services firm Experience of working in an in-house tax team preferred Relevant recognised qualification (ACA, CTA, or equivalent) Process and improvement-oriented mindset Strong work ethic and ability to work independently Excellent analytical skills and judgement Strong technical proficiency with MS Excel Ability to multi-task as well as meet deadlines Strong interpersonal skills and exceptional organisational skills
