Robert Walters are excited to be representing a market leading Manchester based business as they look to appoint a high calibre Tax Manager to join their finance team. You’ll work closely with the Finance Director to ensure tax compliance across the Group, along with managing & developing a small team.
The role:
• Prepare tax computations for a number of legal entities. • Develop a strong culture of ownership and accountability for processes and procedures. • Manage enquiries from auditors, tax advisers etc. • Manage & coach a team of one Tax Accountant. • Develop the tax control framework, including testing and process improvements. • Preparation of corporation tax calculations for annual financial reporting • Coordinating the annual tax compliance cycle, with internal and external teams. • Handle commercial ad hoc project work.
Essential experience:
• Fully CTA qualified desirable (however not essential). • Excellent communication skills & a strong attention to detail. • Strong Excel skills would be beneficial. • Enthusiastic and flexible team player. • Ability to work in a fast paced, social and hard-working environment.
