What you'll do:
As the Head of Finance, you will play a pivotal role in steering the financial direction of the organisation. You will oversee all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, as well as development of internal control policies and procedures. Your responsibilities will also include managing head office reviewing subsidiary accounts, conducting margin analysis across the group, and undertaking ad hoc project work. You will also supervise a team of dedicated finance professionals, fostering an environment of learning and growth.
• Oversee monthly group accounts workings and presentations • Review subsidiary accounts and group KPIs • Approve payments and conduct margin analysis across the group • Undertake ad hoc project work as required • Drive project work including M&A activity • Act as the daily point of contact for annual financial audits • Manage head office payroll and review Americas Payroll • Supervise a team of 8 finance professionals • Manage cash flows and import/export logistical and financial processes • Review VAT returns quarterly and ACA students training files annually
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Head of Finance position will ideally be big 4 qualified and bring a wealth of experience in finance leadership roles. You will have proven expertise in overseeing all aspects of financial operations, from corporate accounting to payroll management. Your ability to conduct detailed margin analysis across a large organisation will be crucial in this role. Additionally, your experience in managing ad hoc project work within a finance context will be highly valued. As a leader, you will have demonstrated success in managing a team, fostering an environment of learning and growth.
