What you'll do:
As the Head of Finance, you will be at the heart of our operations, ensuring accurate reporting of all financial and management accounting information. You will lead a dedicated team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. Your analytical skills will be crucial in providing insights to key stakeholders, driving revenue and EBITDA performance. You will also take charge of all aspects of the month-end close, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Your leadership skills will shine as you mentor your team, manage external stakeholders during audits and tax queries, and support budgeting and forecasting processes. • Ensure accurate reporting of all financial & management accounting information • Manage and grow the finance team, fostering a supportive and collaborative environment • Provide detailed analysis to key stakeholders to help drive revenue & EBITDA performance • Take responsibility for all aspects of the month-end close, ensuring accuracy and timeliness • Lead on audit and tax queries, managing external stakeholders where appropriate • Mentor & coach the team, providing continuous improvement initiatives & training • Support in preparation of budgets and forecasts • Work closely with operational teams and assist with queries from an accounting perspective
What you bring:
The ideal Head of Finance is fully qualified (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) with extensive experience of managing month-end processes. You have previously worked within the manufacturing industry and have strong stakeholder management skills, including business partnering up to c-suite level. Your logical thinking and analytical skills enable you to consider all relevant aspects and carry out analysis on key information. You have excellent attention to detail and are computer literate with good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Your excellent communication skills will be crucial in this role.
