Financial Controller Salary: £70,000 - £85,000 plus 10-15%

What you'll do:
As Financial Controller, you will be at the heart of the finance department and you will report into the MD. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that the finance function provides accurate and timely financial data to our senior management. You will manage a diverse team based across the UK and Italy, fostering an inclusive work environment that encourages collaboration and commitment. Your role will encompass a broad range of tasks from managing treasury functions to ensuring compliance with UK GAAP. You will also work closely with the Tax Manager to ensure tax compliance across different countries.
Responsible for financial and management reporting (monthly, quarterly, annually), including consolidation of branch accounts Manage the Treasury function including multiple currencies Ensure compliance with UK GAAP, regulations, internal policies and procedures Work with the Tax Manager to ensure tax compliance in different countries Produce annual budgets and quarterly forecasts, analyse and report variances on a monthly basis Develop and maintain risk management procedures with the Senior Management Team Manage J-Sox and other internal control procedures
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Financial Controller position brings a wealth of experience in similar roles. You must be fully Qualified ACCA or ACA and have honed your planning, organisational, leadership, and motivational skills. Your excellent communication skills enable you to connect with employees at all levels professionally. You possess solid knowledge of UK GAAP or IFRS, are proficient in Microsoft Office especially Excel, and have good working knowledge of ERP systems. You must also be strong at managing teams.
