Work visas and the points based system – what has changed?

From Jan 2021, the UK adopted a new points-based immigration system, bringing both EU and non-EU nationals under a singular immigration scheme. Under this new UK immigration system, the historical Tier 2 (General) visa has been replaced by the Skilled Worker route. The headline changes are the removal of the Resident Labour Market Test, the suspension of the monthly limit on applicants and the lowering of the minimum skills threshold, thereby opening the scheme to a much wider number of occupations than previously.

To guide organisations through the complex post-Brexit visa & immigration system, Robert Walters are delighted to invite you to watch this on demand Business after Brexit seminar hosted by Immigration Specialists Darren Faire & Saskia Johnston from Sable International.

Darren & Saskia provide information on a variety of topics including: post-brexit and the impact on EU workers, managing your current migrant workforce, the new points based immigration system and providing sponsorship (including how to obtain licences & costs associated).
