Treasury Accountant -Utilities Business - Stevenage (with remote working) - Circa £40k-£55k + bonus and benefits package

Robert Walters are hiring for a Group Treasury Accountant for a leading utilities services business based near to Stevenage.

This is a permanent full-time position available on either a hybrid or remote working basis.

Reporting into the Treasury Manager, the Treasury Accountant is responsible for a varied cash management role, encompassing different areas of cash reporting, forecasting and planning, across a large and complex organisation.

Responsibilities include:

- Preparation of daily cash reports
- Consolidation of divisional cashflow forecasts.
- Bi-monthly cashflow forecasting
- Review BACS Limits on a semi-annual basis. Manage and maintain BACS and SUN ID’s, keeping track of SUN expiry.
- Manage current Bank Accounts and assist with documentation for opening and closing when required
- Maintain the banking mandate schedule ensuring the addition/removal of personnel.
- Supporting on ad-hoc treasury projects and working on process improvement initiatives

The business is looking for someone with prior cash management experience including cash reporting and cashflow forecasting.

In addition they are looking for someone keen to develop as the plan is to expose this person to new areas of treasury, and someone with good communication skills as this person will engage in regular business partnering and project work.

The role comes with a salary of circa £40,000-£55,000 (dependent on experience) plus bonus and benefits package.
