Hybrid Android Engineer-Fintech Scale Up

Our client is a London based Fintech scale up with operations across Europe, Asia and South Americas.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Android features using Kotlin and modern development practices.
• Design scalable, modular application structures and apply proven architecture patterns.
• Integrate mobile apps with backend services, payment systems, and external devices.
• Manage local data storage, migrations, and performance tuning.
• Implement asynchronous processing and ensure application reliability through testing.
• Support the transition to modern UI frameworks and improve legacy codebases.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance stability and observability.

Key Requirement:

• 5+ years of Android development.
• Proven background working on large, complex mobile platforms.
• Advanced Kotlin skills and knowledge of modern Android architecture.
• Experience with reactive and coroutine-based programming.
• Familiarity with databases, API integrations, and dependency injection.
• Solid testing and refactoring experience.
