QA Engineer - Mobile/Web Testing

We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer who takes ownership of quality and builds automation that actually protects releases. This is a hands on role for someone who is comfortable working across web, mobile, APIs and cloud environments. You will help strengthen automation capability while also applying practical manual and exploratory testing where it adds value.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain scalable automation frameworks across web and mobile platforms
• Develop meaningful regression, integration and functional test coverage
• Create and maintain behaviour driven automated tests
• Integrate automated testing into CI pipelines
• Test APIs and validate backend data using SQL
• Support testing within AWS based environments
• Identify gaps in coverage and continuously improve QA processes
• Work closely with engineers during sprint cycles to shift quality earlier in the lifecycle
• Carry out manual and exploratory testing where automation is not the right solution
• Contribute to documentation, standards and best practice within QA

Key Requirements

• Minimum five years of QA experience with a strong focus on automation
• Proven hands on experience with Selenium and BDD frameworks such as Cucumber
• Strong coding capability in Java/Kotlin
• Experience testing modern JavaScript front end frameworks such as Angular
• Mobile testing experience across Android and iOS
• Solid understanding of SQL for data validation
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI pipelines such as GitHub Actions
• Familiarity with AWS cloud environments
• Strong attention to detail and a practical, risk based approach to testing
• Clear communication skills and ability to work effectively within cross functional teams
