Senior PHP Full Stack Developer

Robert Walters is working in partnership with a leading insurance services business. Operating within the insurance sector, providing tailored insurance-related products and services. They focus on delivering compliant, reliable, and customer-focused solutions, supported by strong risk management and operational controls. Due to continued growth, they are keen to appoint an experienced Senior Full Stack PHP Developer to be based out of the Hove offices paying a salary range of £50,000 to £65,000 plus bonus. As an experienced Senior Full Stack PHP Developer, you will take technical ownership, complete launch delivery and lead post-live development – including an exciting AI roadmap. This role will be hands-on leading real features, integrating systems and improve reliability.

Senior Full Stack PHP Developer: Duties (Pre-Launch)

• Connecting the full platform end-to-end (Front end, CMS, Backoffice)
• Improve back-office workflows and internal tools
• Deliver integrations (Firebase, medical screening provider, reporting, marketing consent)
• Adding/Improving unit + feature tests
• Ensure security, performance and reliability for launch

Post-Live Roadmap (High Impact, including AI)

• Help evolve the platform including:
• Customer login/portal
• Multi-scheme support
• CRM migration & integration
• Help build AI Quotes and Knowledge Hub
• Experience of building production features using APIs, data and engineering practises

Senior Full Stack PHP Developer: Experience

• Strong PHP (Production experience)
• SQL & Databases
• REST APIs & Third-party integrations
• Front-end capability (HTML/CSS/JS & Templates)
• GIT & Collaborative Development
• Testing – Unit, Feature Tests

The permanent position for a Senior Full Stack PHP Developer is base out of the Hove offices and paying as salary range of £50,000 to £65,000 plus bonus. This is an opportunity to join a fast-growing insurance business.
