Senior Software Engineer

Build stuff that actually gets used. Tackle AI problems that matter. One of our clients - a heavyweight in the legal tech space is looking for an Software Engineer to join their product team building AI-powered legal tooling. Think fewer slide decks, more shipping.

You’ll be turning complex AI research into usable features, working closely with researchers, product, and QA. It’s a chance to work on something real: a web-based platform already in production, with big-name clients, high-stakes data, and the scale to keep things interesting.

What you’ll actually do

• Build and ship web features across the stack (JS/TS, Java)

• Work directly with researchers to bring AI capabilities into the product

• Spot edge cases and weird user behaviour before it hits prod

• Help the team stay sane with smart tooling, observability, and clean design

• Navigate gnarly data, make it usable, make it fast

What they’re looking for

• 4+ years building real web apps (bonus points if it was messy and high-impact)

• Strong JS/TS/Java/Python experince, with experience on both client and server

• Solid with Postgres and friends (Elasticsearch, Redis, etc.)

• Familiar with AWS and containerisation (or keen to learn fast)

• Someone who doesn’t need hand-holding and can argue their point when it matters

Bonus if:

• You’ve worked on SaaS platforms or AI-ish products

• You enjoy collaborating directly with non-engineers and can translate researchy stuff into working features
