Senior Fullstack Engineer - Fixed Income

Join a leading global bank as a Full-Stack Engineer within their front office team. You’ll help drive a multi-year transformation of their Fixed Income technology platform, building high-performance, real-time applications that support trading workflows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop real-time, high-performance microservices to support Rates and Credit trading workflows

  • Deliver full-stack solutions across Java, React, and TypeScript

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand trading needs and deliver impactful features

  • Contribute to the design of scalable, event-driven, microservices-based architecture

  • Work closely with other engineers to ensure operational efficiency, maintainability, and performance

Key Requirements

  • Strong core Java skills, including OOP, concurrency, and collections

  • Experience with distributed systems and event-driven architectures

  • Background in designing and building RESTful and event-driven APIs

  • Familiarity with SQL databases and containerisation tools such as Docker and Kubernetes

  • Awareness of front-end technologies; experience with React and TypeScript is a plus

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
