Senior Fullstack Engineer - Fixed Income

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Full-Stack Engineer to help transform a major Fixed Income front-office technology landscape. You’ll architect and deliver high-performance, real-time React applications that support trading workflows, working closely with stakeholders to shape a scalable, future-ready platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop modern, real-time React/Java applications for trading workflows

• Work closely with engineers to build robust, scalable, and low-latency systems

• Lead full-stack solution design, with a focus on backend performance, reliability, and system integration

• Translate business and technical requirements into cohesive system architectures

• Promote engineering excellence, modern development practices, and continuous improvement

• Contribute to platform modernisation, helping define long-term technology direction

Key Requirements:

• Strong expertise in React, TypeScript, and modern web technologies

• Proven experience building real-time, event-driven systems (WebSockets, Web Workers, asynchronous data flow)

• Solid background in backend development, ideally with Java, REST APIs, and messaging frameworks

• Deep understanding of architecture and system design, including distributed and low-latency systems

• Ability to drive full-stack solutions, with a strong backend focus and solid UI fundamentals

• Demonstrated experience within a Rates or broader Fixed Income trading environment

• Strong appreciation for system-level design and how individual applications fit within the wider platform

• Capable of working with abstract or evolving requirements to deliver practical, scalable solutions
