Senior Frontend Engineer - Credit Technology

Our client is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer (React, Java) to join their dynamic and global team. This role is integral to the core Credit Flow pre-trade engineering team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology, contributing to the development of UI architecture and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

Your role will involve managing UI initiatives from London and actively participating in hands-on development. You will be responsible for ensuring that the credit trading platform meets all security and audit requirements. You will utilise a range of tools including Jira, Confluence, Git, NPM, Yarn, Webpack, Teamcity/Jenkins, Artifactory.

• Work within a global technology team, managing UI initiatives from London.
• Hands-on development using React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, NodeJS, Java 8, Vert.x, Linux.
• Contribute to evaluation for new business requirements and strategic development of UI architecture and infrastructure.
• Ensure the platform meets all security and audit requirements.
• Utilise tools such as Jira, Confluence, Git, NPM, Yarn, Webpack, Teamcity/Jenkins, Artifactory.

Key Requirements:

The ideal candidate brings a wealth of experience in frontend technologies including TypeScript, JavaScript, React and HTML/CSS. You are proficient in Java 8 and Vert.x and comfortable working in a Linux environment. Your familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Git adds value to your profile. You understand Agile/DevOps environments well and have strong UI/UX analytical and design skills.

• Proven experience with TypeScript, JavaScript, React, HTML/CSS, NodeJS.
• Proficiency in Java 8 and Vert.x.
• Experience working in a Linux environment.
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Git, NPM, Yarn, Webpack.
• Understanding of Agile/DevOps environments.
• Strong UI/UX analytical and design skills.
