Our client is a global leader in life sciences, operating across three continents. They are currently seeking an OpenShift Architect to join their team in the United Kingdom. This role offers a competitive salary range of £90,000 - £105,000 and the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and maintaining containerised solutions, implementing cloud or on-premises infrastructure for IT and Operational Technology (OT), and meeting the highest levels of GMP requirements and IT security controls.

What you'll do:


As an OpenShift Architect, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our client's technological landscape. Your primary responsibility will be to design and maintain containerised solutions while ensuring the highest levels of GMP requirements and IT security controls are met. You will also represent QA Qualification in project organisation for new facilities or other projects, coordinating different QA interests during the project phase. Your expertise will be crucial in driving the implementation of new qualification strategies, compiling, reviewing and releasing Qualification Documents, performing assessments and approvals of technical change requests, representing qualification topics during customer audits and regulatory inspections, and driving CAPA and Effectiveness Checks items to completion.


* Design and maintain containerised solutions
* Implement cloud or on-premises infrastructure for IT and Operational Technology (OT)
* Meet the highest levels of GMP requirements and IT security controls
* Represent QA Qualification in project organisation for new facilities or other projects
* Coordinate different QA interests during project phase

* Compile, review and release Qualification Documents
* Perform assessments and approvals of technical change requests

What you bring:


The ideal OpenShift Architect candidate brings a wealth of experience in Kubernetes/OpenShift at an Architect Level. You have a proven track record in implementing CI/CD Pipeline and Security Tools. An understanding of applicable cGMP regulations would be advantageous. You possess general knowledge of engineering and manufacturing processes with extensive experience in containers (Docker, Swarm Kubernetes). Your experience in DevOps Principles, CI/CD, and continuous development pipelines using Jenkins will be crucial to your success in this role.


* Academic degree (Bachelor's or higher) within technology field
* Deep skills in Kubernetes/OpenShift at an Architect Level
* Experience in implementing CI/CD Pipeline and Security Tools
* Understanding of applicable cGMP regulations would be an advantage
* General knowledge of engineering and manufacturing processes
* Extensive experience in containers (Docker, Swarm Kubernetes)
* Experience in DevOps Principles, CI/CD, continuous development pipelines using Jenkins
