Senior UX/UX Engineer - Trade Surveillance

Our client is seeking a Senior UI/UX Engineer to join their dynamic team in London. This role offers the opportunity to work within an engineering-focused organisation, striving for the highest quality architecture, design and code across their teams. You will be instrumental in designing and building their surveillance front-end application, working in a fast-paced, agile environment. This role requires 3 days per week in the London office.

What you'll do:

You will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience of our client's surveillance front-end application. You will be part of a team that values learning and continuous improvement, holding yourself accountable for the successful delivery of regulatory critical workstreams.

• Design and deliver web apps that users want to use
• Help create a culture of learning and continuous improvement within your team
• Be accountable for successful delivery of a regulatory critical workstream
• Employ a range of techniques to analyse problems and evaluate multiple solutions against engineering, business & strategic criteria
• Identify and resolve barriers to business deliveries implementing solutions which iteratively deliver value
• Design solutions using common design patterns with a range of design tools & techniques
• Conduct peer reviews to ensure designs are fit for purpose, extensible & re-usable

What you bring:

You will bring a wealth of experience in delivering software solutions using React. Your background in designing software solutions with intuitive user experiences and journeys sets you apart from others. You have hands-on experience with UX design tools such as Figma and are familiar with design systems.

• Proven track record in delivering software solutions using React
• Experience designing software solutions with intuitive user experience and journeys
• Experience with UX design tools e.g. Figma and design systems
• Analytical thinker, team player with strong communication skills
• Ability to enable experimentation and fast learning approaches to creating business solutions
• DevOps mindset to safely deliver well tested software often to the end-user
