I’m looking for a Senior Engineering Manager, your role is to lead and inspire software teams. You will oversee multiple teams responsible for building scalable distributed services and applications, balancing responsibilities between people management, recruitment, and participation in design reviews and Agile processes. A background in Java and 6+ years experience managing people is critical for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a talented team of Engineers while also playing a key role in hiring top-notch engineering talent to expand the team.
• Create an environment that fosters technical excellence and innovation, utilising your deep knowledge of our tech stack to inspire the team.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project delivery, leveraging your expertise in Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD to address technical challenges.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in leading and managing teams in a software development environment, specifically with Java, JavaScript, React, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and Big Data.
• Track record of successful recruitment and building high-performing software development organisations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to harmonise collaboration across teams.
• Passion for technology and staying up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in our tech stack.
