An established legal firm based in Bolton are currently looking for a Resource Planning Analyst with a responsibility for predicting and defining the future scope and challenges in the planning and performance of operational service delivery. This is a growth role, supporting in the forecasting for all new bids and tenders where required, while running an effective resource planning team to manage existing contract requirements. Knowledge of SQL & Power BI is necessary for this role.

The post holder will support the Head of Contract to drive the businesses strategic aims and on-going development through identifying opportunities for change to support improvements in service delivery. The post holder will influence stakeholders and oversee the transformation and implementation of agreed changes.

Main Responsibilities:
• The post holder will provide leadership and professional management, combined with overall responsibility for resource planning; including the development and implementation of planning changes, providing expertise to support directorates in their work to redesign and evolve the service.
• To support the delivery of measurable and observable improvements both operationally and financially (alongside the Finance team and Head of Delivery) analysing performance variations to plan to inform the business future deliverable and direction.
• Ensure the correct levels of Operations resource are recruited and retained to meet the demands of the service, guiding the implementation of strategic changes, plans for improvement and service redesign in a balanced and achievable way, ensuring these do not impact detrimentally on service delivery and that stakeholders, both internal and external, are engaged at all stages of any reforms.
• Lead the design and implementation of complex workforce and operational systems, models and forecast tools to evaluate and review departmental performance against agreed targets and performance indicators.
• Provide regular, complex reports to the Head of Operations on all aspects of the Resource Planning functions performance.

The role is offering a salary of up to £50,000 in addition to a strong benefits package. The office is based in Bolton, however the business is operating a hybrid working pattern with the need to visit the office 1 day per week. There will also be an element of travel involved with the role – with a need to visit the business’s other office in the midlands on occasion (minimal)
