Our client, a leading player in international banking, is seeking an Application Support Analyst to join their dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to work within the Loan Solutions team, contributing to the design and implementation of solutions across all local products and services.

What you'll do:

As an Application Support Analyst, you will play a crucial role within the Loan Solutions team. Your primary responsibility will be supporting loan solutions by developing and maintaining analytical tools and reporting for structured finance transactions and loan fund portfolios. You will also contribute to achieving business objectives through the development of operating models and technologies. Furthermore, you will represent both the business and technology capability for loan solutions globally, liaising with internal stakeholders both locally and offshore as well as external stakeholders.

* Support loan solutions by developing and maintaining analytical tools and reporting for structured finance transactions and loan fund portfolios.
* Ensure business objectives for loan Solutions are achieved through the development of operating model and technologies.
* Represent both the business and technology capability for loan solutions globally facing off internal stakeholders (local and offshore) and external stakeholders.
* Contribute to developing business opportunities by using Loan Solutions knowledge.
* Assist in modelling of structured finance transactions and direct lending funds.
* Participate in new/enhanced application testing prior to roll out.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the role MUST have experience with the Sentry management system. You will possess excellent data analysis skills including advanced proficiency with Excel formulas. A willingness to learn new financial concepts and modelling techniques is essential. You should be detail-oriented with a good understanding of financial concepts. Additionally, you should have the ability to understand complex documentation.

* Bachelor’s degree or more in quantitative field such as maths, physics, computer science, data science.
* Proficiency in MS Office (including Excel to VBA level, Access, and Word).
* Excellent data analysis skills including advanced level with Excel formulas.
* Willingness and appetite to learning new financial concepts and modelling techniques.
* Detail orientated and at ease with financial concepts.
* Ability to understand complex documentation.
