An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled IT Help Desk Engineer to join a dynamic and globally recognised organisation. This role offers the chance to provide technical assistance and support to the London office employees and be part of a global team who support over 2000 internal users worldwide. With a competitive salary of £40,000 - £50,000 base, this London-based position is perfect for those looking to take their career to the next level in a supportive and inclusive environment.
What you'll do:
As an IT Help Desk Engineer, your role will be pivotal in providing comprehensive technical support on a global scale. You'll be responsible for responding to IT support tickets, troubleshooting issues with both Apple and Microsoft products, and supporting internal users with their workstation-related problems. Your expertise will also extend to configuring, installing and maintaining all office technical equipment. Additionally, you'll work with A/V conferencing systems to facilitate both internal and external meetings or company events. Providing basic network assistance such as LAN, Wireless, and VPN will also fall under your remit.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the IT Help Desk Engineer role brings a wealth of experience in help desk and IT support for large user bases. Your ability to install, administer and troubleshoot computer hardware and software will be crucial in this role. Experience with G-suite/Microsoft Office 365 and Okta is highly desirable. As a customer-oriented individual, your strong communication skills will enable you to thrive under pressure. Your excellent analytical abilities coupled with your attention to detail make you adept at problem-solving. Advanced troubleshooting skills are essential along with the ability to multitask effectively. Knowledge in JAMF would be advantageous as would experience with video conference systems.
