This is an exciting opportunity to work in a hybrid role, offering the flexibility of working from the office three days a week and remotely for the rest. The role offers a competitive salary ranging from £50,000 to £65,000. What you'll do:

As a Production Support Analyst with project/business requirement gathering responsibilities, you will play a crucial role in supporting business process planning within the client's IT Business Application Team. You will manage and maintain systems while liaising with various stakeholders both internally and externally. Your contribution to project work will be significant whether you're leading or playing a secondary role. You will work closely with various business departments on tasks such as requirements gathering, analysis, design, development, project management, testing and release. Your role will also involve providing support for production systems during normal business hours and out of hours when required. A key part of your role will be working in partnership with business users to help identify and design solutions that meet their needs. Staying updated on IT industry developments and applying them to our business will also be part of your responsibilities.

  • Support business process planning in IT Business Application Team
  • Manage and maintain systems
  • Liaise with IT Management, Branch and users, Head Office and outside parties
  • Contribute to project work in a leading or secondary role

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Production Support Analyst role will bring a wealth of knowledge in Banking Operations and a basic understanding of Finance / Risk Management. You will be adept at gathering business requirements, designing, helping develop, testing and carrying out the deployment of key systems. Your experience in integrating systems in a heterogeneous environment will be invaluable. Your ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical colleagues will be crucial in this role. You will also have the ability to create and maintain documentation like business requirements, change and release documentation. A working knowledge of SQL Server, T-SQL and PowerShell is essential. An understanding of financial markets and regulations like MiFID, EMIR, SMMD, SFTR would be desirable.
