Tech Lead - Data + Client Reporting Platforms

A global asset manager is modernising its distribution, client reporting, and performance data platforms using cloud-native and SaaS technologies. This role owns the global technology strategy for data and reporting platforms supporting sales, marketing, and client servicing teams.

Technology Lead – Distribution Data & Client Reporting

This is a senior, hands-on technology leadership role (not a PM/programme role), ideal for a strong technologist or technology consultant with modern data platform experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Own global tech strategy for distribution data and client reporting platforms

• Lead cloud-based data solutions using AWS and Snowflake

• Modernise client and investor reporting (performance, attribution, ESG)

• Lead sales, marketing, and digital engagement data platforms

• Partner with data science teams on analytics and AI initiatives

• Lead and mentor global technology teams; influence senior stakeholders

Required Experience

• Strong technology leadership background (consulting experience a plus)

• Experience in asset management data platforms (distribution, sales, reporting)

• Hands-on AWS and Snowflake experience

• Modern data engineering and platform design (APIs, microservices, CI/CD, IaC)

• Client/investor reporting systems experience (e.g. Coric, Vermilion – beneficial)

• Data governance and regulatory awareness (e.g. GDPR)

• Exposure to AI/ML desirable

Role Details

• Location: London (3 days onsite)

• Contract: 6 months initially (potential perm)

• Rate: £700–£900 per day

• Interviews: 2 stages (London onsite, then US-based team)
