Application Support Specialist

Robert Walters is working in partnership with a leading UK-based law firm. They have a strong history of providing legal services across various sectors. Due to continued growth, they are keen to appoint an experienced Application Support Specialist, paying a salary range of £30,000 to £35,000 plus benefits. The role is based out of the central Birmingham offices with a hybrid working model. As an experienced Application Support Specialist, you will ensure stability, performance and improvement of the firm’s core applications. Working closely with lawyers, partners and support teams providing high-quality technical support – along with enhancements, upgrades and projects.

Application Support Specialist: Duties

• Support core applications
• Manage escalated tickets and resolve application issues
• Diagnose/Resolve application issues
• Investigate recurring problems and propose long-terms solutions
• Assist with testing for system upgrades
• Testing systems – updates, enhancements, vendor releases
• Training sessions across key applications and workflows

Application Support Specialist: Experience

• Experience in Legal, Finance or Professional Services
• Essential application support experience
• Business application experience – Microsoft 365 & related integration's
• Analyse complex issues, provide solutions

The permanent role for an Application Support Specialist pay a salary up to £35,000 with a hybrid working from the central Birmingham offices.
