The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience designing and developing software using AWS services, particularly databases. Must be proficient in Python, Terraform, and automation. Experience with large-scale AWS infrastructure, containerization, and serverless architectures is required. AWS and Terraform certifications are a plus.
Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced software developer with a deep understanding of AWS services, particularly database products. This role requires a strong background in system design, application development, and operational stability. The ideal candidate will be proficient in modern scripting languages, infrastructure as code practices, and will have expertise in AWS services and Terraform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop scalable software solutions leveraging AWS services, especially AWS database products.
- Deliver system design, application development, testing, and ensure operational stability of solutions.
- Lead and support large-scale AWS production workload infrastructure.
- Utilize modern scripting languages and infrastructure as code practices to automate and streamline processes.
- Work with AWS services for Traditional Compute, Containerization, and Serverless architectures.
- Manage and drive technology projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and delivery timelines.
- Employ automation and continuous delivery methods to optimize workflows and improve deployment cycles.
- Leverage development toolsets such as Jira, Bitbucket, and Confluence to track progress and collaborate effectively with teams.
- Act as a key technical lead, mentoring junior team members and ensuring best practices are followed.
Required Skills & Experience:
- At least 5+ years of experience in software development and design, with a focus on AWS services, particularly database products.
- Hands-on experience in delivering system designs, application development, and maintaining operational stability.
- Expertise in Python and Terraform is essential.
- Proven experience in delivering and supporting large-scale AWS production workload infrastructure.
- Advanced knowledge of AWS services, including traditional compute, containerization, and serverless architectures.
- Proficient in using development tools such as Jira, Bitbucket, and Confluence.
- Strong experience leading technology projects and cross-functional teams.
- Expertise in automation and continuous delivery practices.
- A degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
- At least one AWS certification (e.g., Solutions Architect – Professional, Developer, Data Engineer) and Terraform Certified Associate certification.
