Network Engineer

Network Engineer Salary: Up to £46,000 per year Location: Cambridge

Robert Walters has partnered with a leading organisation in Cambridge that is looking to expand its network engineering team. The successful candidate will support ongoing projects and provide technical assistance for network-related issues.

Job Description

  • Collaborate with the Service Desk team to resolve network-related issues across the organisation and participate in project work.
  • Be part of an on-call rota, which may require onsite attendance to address faults and issues.
  • Work closely with service providers to ensure faults are promptly addressed and resolved.

Experience and Requirements

  • Relevant experience managing telephony, paging, or IT systems within a large organisation.
  • Familiarity with the ITIL methodology.
  • Network-related qualifications, preferably CCNA, though equivalent industry certifications will be considered.
  • Experience working with Cisco products.
  • A project management qualification such as PRINCE2 is desirable.
