£510 per day (Outside IR35)

The role will be working with an existing team to manage and deliver the infrastructure components for the organisations ambitions to be NCSC CAF compliant within 2 years. This is an ambitious task so the candidate must be suitably experienced with a strong security and architectural background.

Skills:

• Demonstratable all round advanced security and infrastructure experience.
• Able to quickly understand the implemented infrastructure and embed into an existing team.
• Worked within multiple security frameworks and advantageous to have delivered the NCSC CAF controls in previous roles.
• Excellent communications skills (written and verbal to multiple levels of stakeholders)
• Proven ability to self-initiate and create technical processes.
• Creating standards and designs to align with the compliance goals.
• Proven ability to manage and maintain process and technical documentation.
• Advanced knowledge of Secure by design/Zero trust methodologies.

The following tech skills will be required:

• Predominantly Microsoft skills set, although Linux skills will be a bonus.
• Advanced Active Directory/EntraID suite skills
• Excellent Windows Server skills(including HyperV and Azure Stack HCI), management and troubleshooting, with server roles DNS,DHCP, DFS, storage spaces direct etc
• Excellent Azure and AWS knowledge.
• Excellent Microsoft 365 management and troubleshooting skills, including Defender product suite, Identity, Endpoint, Office and Cloud.
• Advanced knowledge of encryption methods and securing servers.
• Certified with Microsoft Cyber Security Architect.
