About the IAM Analyst role:

My client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented IT Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the company’s IT infrastructure, ensuring that application users are up to date, managing access controls, resolving support tickets, and collaborating with stakeholders and other teams. You will ensure that IT tasks are completed on time, with high attention to detail, and that all systems are functioning optimally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • User Management & Role Assignment: Maintain and update application users, ensuring their access is aligned with organizational needs. Assign roles and permissions across systems (e.g., cloud platforms, internal applications) and ensure that these align with security policies and user requirements.
  • Ticket Resolution: Manage, prioritize, and resolve IT support tickets related to issues. Ensure that tickets are closed in a timely manner, providing clear resolutions and effective communication to end-users.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with internal stakeholders, including department heads and managers, to ensure that all IT needs are addressed promptly and aligned with business goals. Ensure all tasks and requests are handled efficiently and on time from start to end.
  • Cross-team Coordination: Collaborate with other teams (e.g., IAM, Security, Infra) to ensure that any actions taken are relevant, coordinated, and in alignment with broader organizational objectives. Ensure seamless communication between departments for project execution and problem resolution.
  • System Maintenance & Updates: Oversee the role maintenance and updating of IT systems, applications, and ensuring that they remain secure, stable, and functional.
  • Security & Compliance: Monitor and enforce IT security policies, ensuring user access is properly controlled and the organization's data is protected from threats. Assist with audits and compliance reporting as required.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain clear and accurate documentation of user access changes, ticket resolutions, and IT processes. Prepare periodic reports for stakeholders regarding ticket status, and user management.
  • Ad-hoc IT Tasks: Perform additional IT-related tasks as needed, such as updates, and assisting with IT projects or system improvements (some work on weekends is required)
  • Weekend Work: Availability for occasional weekend work on selected projects to ensure communication and problem-solving in real time.

Required experience:

  • Proven experience as a user access IT Administrator, or in a similar role.
  • Strong expertise in user management, including role assignment, permissions, and access control across various platforms.
  • Experience using IT Service Now management tools to handle support tickets and requests.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with various stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of IT security best practices and network administration.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines effectively.
