Information Security Director

Information Security Director/CISO Salary: £110,000 - £130,000 + benefits Location: Midlands & Home Counties (1 day per week across different UK Sites)

Our client, a global enterprise business with a presence in over 20 countries, is seeking an Information Security Director to join their team. As the Information Security Director, you will report directly to the CIO and be responsible for leading a team based both in the UK and offshore. Your primary focus will be on delivering a three-year cyber security strategy aimed at enhancing the organisation's cyber security posture.

What you'll do:

As an Information Security Director, your role will be pivotal in shaping and driving the organisation's cyber security strategy. You will lead a diverse team, including SOC, GRC, and Technical Cyber Security Teams, fostering their growth and ensuring they perform at full capacity. Your expertise will guide the implementation of new technologies and processes within the team. Additionally, you'll play an active role in supply chain and customer audits, further solidifying our client's robust security posture.

• Lead the information security function which includes SOC, GRC and Technical teams.
• Develop and implement a three-year cyber security strategy focused on improving the organisation's cyber security posture.
• Ensure optimal performance of your team through effective leadership and development strategies.
• Implement new technologies and processes within the cyber security team.
• Participate in supply chain and customer audits.

What you bring:

• Strong understanding of information security frameworks such as NIST CSF, Cyber Essentials and ISO 27001
• Proven experience in developing and mentoring people to perform aid in team members professional development.
• Knowledge of OT Cyber Security environments would be beneficial.
• Experience in implementing new technologies and processes within a cyber security team
• Experience participating in supply chain and customer audits
