IT Risk Consultant

My client, an FinTech company are looking for an IT Risk Consultant to join their growing team in London.

About the IT Risk Consultant role:

Reporting to the Group Technology Senior Risk Manager, the Supplier Controls Manager role supports the sound and coherent management of risks and controls within the Group Technology directorate where processes and controls are managed by our suppliers. The role facilitates the management of risks through supporting the maintenance of risk, control and other governance mechanisms, as well as for the routine and accurate reporting of governance information to a range of stakeholders. The role has a specific focus on ensuring the controls operated by our are tightly managed and coordinated.

Qualfications and Experience required:

• Relevant risk management experience, ideally within financial services and technology environment
• Knowledge and understanding of relevant regulation (FCA, PRA, GDPR, PECR), compliance principles and risk frameworks
• Detailed knowledge of risk & corporate governance frameworks, strategies, and policies
• Subject matter expertise on technology risk frameworks in a regulated environment
• Experience of technology and security infrastructure related risk including vulnerability management and end of life/end of support.
• Experience of interfacing with senior stakeholders as well as presenting to Executive level committees.
• Ability to work in a matrixed management environment and to use influence, logic and negotiation skills to achieve outcomes and improvements
• Ability to carry out Control Testing
