Cloud Platform Engineer - Azure

We’re looking for a Cloud Platform Engineer to help design and deliver a scalable, secure enterprise platform on Azure, supporting advanced analytics and business intelligence.

What you’ll be doing

• Designing and delivering scalable Azure-based platform components
• Building and maintaining Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
• Developing and optimising CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps / GitHub Actions)
• Implementing observability (logging, metrics, alerting)
• Collaborating with architects and senior engineers on platform design
• Driving best practices in automation, security, and performance
• Supporting and mentoring engineers within the team

What we’re looking for

• Strong experience in platform engineering within Azure environments
• Expertise across Azure services (e.g. Data Factory, Data Lake, Azure ML, Power BI/Fabric)
• Proven experience with Terraform / Infrastructure as Code
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps / GitHub Actions)
• Strong understanding of observability and performance optimisation
• Solid cloud security knowledge (IAM, network isolation, data protection)
• Scripting experience (PowerShell, Python, or Bash)
• Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset
• Experience mentoring or supporting other engineers (desirable)
