Key Qualifications and Experience:

Collaboration within Azure DevOps: You'll collaborate closely with software engineering teams within Azure DevOps to enhance our cloud operations.

Previous Experience: You bring experience in a similar role, advocating for Cloud Operations, DevOps, and SRE best practices.

Planning and Organization: Your strong planning and organizational skills enable you to manage multiple workstreams concurrently, ensuring a balance between business priorities and quality.

Azure DevOps CI/CD: Proficiency with Azure DevOps CI/CD Pipelines or equivalent tooling is essential.

Agile Environment: You have experience working within an Agile environment, adapting to changing requirements.

Azure Proficiency: You possess excellent experience using Azure in a broad sense, including provisioning Azure-hosted databases.

Hybrid Azure Environment: Working in a hybrid Azure tenant, with some infrastructure in physical data centers, is familiar to you.

Team Collaboration: You are adept at working across multiple software engineering teams, accommodating varying levels of expertise.

Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: You take the initiative to document your knowledge, creating runbooks, and ensuring critical system information is accessible to colleagues.

Continuous Learning: An eagerness to learn and the ability to inspire others to do the same is a significant asset.

Azure Certifications: You hold at least an AZ-104 Azure qualification (or an older MCSE Cloud Architect qualification), and either possess or are actively working towards an AZ-400 qualification.

Desirable Skills and Experience:

Enterprise Azure Management: Experience in Enterprise Agreement, Tenant, and Subscription management is desirable.

VMWare to Azure Transition: Experience in rearchitecting VMWare-based services to Azure native services is valuable, although not essential.

Scripting Skills: Demonstrable skills in PowerShell (in the context of Azure) and Bash shell scripting for Azure are bonuses.

Additional Certifications: Possession of an AZ-305 certification is desirable, and being fully qualified with AZ-400 is a plus.

Cloud Adoption Framework: A good understanding of the Cloud Adoption Framework and Landing Zone concepts is highly desirable, with actual experience being a significant advantage.
