Opportunity Overview: A fantastic opportunity has risen to temporarily join my client, a leading specialty insurer and reinsurer, as an SAP Success Factors Analyst.

Role Objective: The Business Systems Analyst (SAP SuccessFactors) will support and deliver value-added SuccessFactors solutions for the HR function and business. The primary purpose for this role will be to coordinate updates, enhancements and fixes to the current SF configuration and platform, in partnership with the HR team and our 3rd party support partner.

Key Responsibilities:
Strategy and Planning
• Partner with line manager, HR Leadership, HR COE’s and Process Owners to evaluate prioritize, scope, define, plan and deliver change requests and updates
• Support the technical implementation and the change management of H2 SAP SF system releases of updated capabilities.
• Contributes to functional and technical configuration and development of enhancement and fixes and other operational deliverables and activities for the HR team to support delivery of business requirements.
Policy, Process and Procedures
• Supports disciplined systems development processes and methodologies are followed in system maintenance, new project work and testing strategies
• Follow Corporate IT guidelines for systems documentation, systems release processes and project management
Environmental Awareness/Customer Focus
• Partnering with 3rd party support partner (Arago), keep abreast of SAP’s release processes, to keep HR team informed of upcoming enhancements and functionality updates.
• Maintaining consultative relationships with other members on the HR team
• Working experience with SAP for Me support platform to research and identify solutions and other support materials
Technical Performance
• Strong technical knowledge and understanding of core modules within SF – Employee Central, Reporting, Performance Management and LMS. Onboarding and Recruiting experience a plus.
• Deep understanding of how HR systems support the HR function through transactions, reporting, workflows, management information, data integrity and systems integrations.
• Significant business and systems analyst experience to create functional specifications and translate to technical requirements to deliver HR services to the business.

Requirements:
• 5+ years with hands-on technical support of the SAP SuccessFactors platform.
• Working with line manager, HR leadership and HR COE’s in system upgrades, enhancements and new functionality.
• Knowledge of SCRUM, Agile and Waterfall systems development life cycle
• Ability to understand and drive to root cause analysis on defect management.
• Develop and translate functional requirements into systems specification that supports needs of the business
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills that can highlight big picture and task level impact of changes
