Fabric Data Engineer
Fabric Data Engineer Location: North West (1 day per week) Contract Duration: 6 months + Day Rate: £500-550 per day (Outside IR35)
Role Overview:
We're seeking a dynamic Fabric Data Engineer x 2 on 6+mth contracts to join my a leading logistic client to craft cutting-edge data solutions utilizing the Microsoft Fabric platform. Dive into data integration, orchestration, and transformation to create the foundation for robust data-driven initiatives across diverse client projects.
Key responsibilities
• Lead the design and implementation of Microsoft Fabric-centric data platforms and data warehouses
• Develop and optimize ETL/ELT processes within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem, effectively utilizing relevant Fabric solutions
• Ensure data integrity, quality, and governance throughout Microsoft Fabric environments
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into actionable data solutions
• Troubleshoot and optimize existing Fabric implementations for enhanced performance
Must haves:
• Microsoft Fabric expertise: demonstrated experience in developing and maintaining complex data pipelines with Microsoft Fabric
• Data Engineering foundations: solid experience in data warehousing, ETL/ELT processes, and data modeling (dimensional, normalized)
• Azure knowhow: strong working knowledge of Azure services, especially Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, and Azure SQL Database
