Analytics Engineer

Analytics Engineer Solihull (2 days per week on site) £45,000 to £60,000 per annum Permanent

Analytics Engineer – What will you be doing?

• Supporting data projects throughout their entire lifecycle by collaborating with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.
• Engaging proactively with senior colleagues to define clients needs, translating complex concepts into clear requirements and technical specifications that everyone can understand.
• Advising on optimal approaches to data development by drawing on your experience and understanding of industry standards.
• Utilising tools such as Power BI, SQL, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Fabric to design robust data pipelines and insightful dashboards.
• Ensure high standards of data quality and accuracy through rigorous attention to detail in all aspects of your work.

Analytics Engineer – What will you need?

• Skills in Power BI with a proven track record of developing effective dashboards and reports that meet diverse business needs.
• Proficiency in SQL for querying databases, transforming data sets, and optimising performance within large-scale environments.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory for orchestrating complex data workflows across multiple sources.
• Experience leading stakeholders through requirements gathering processes by facilitating workshops or one-on-one sessions that clarify objectives.
• Outstanding communication skills that enable you to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical peers and non-technical stakeholders alike.
