Senior BI Analyst

Senior BI Analyst Brackley (3 days per week) £55,000 to £60,000 Permanent

I am currently looking for a Senior BI Analyst in the Brackley area. You will be instrumental in elevating how data is used across multiple service lines. Your day-to-day activities will involve engaging with stakeholders from various departments to uncover their unique challenges and requirements.

Senior BI Analyst – What will you be doing?

• Collaborating closely with stakeholders across four distinct service lines to understand their data needs and deliver tailored business intelligence solutions that enhance decision-making.
• Leading the transformation and migration of complex datasets, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and reliability throughout all stages of the process.
• Developing advanced Power BI dashboards and reports that provide meaningful insights into business performance, helping teams identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Engaging proactively with colleagues at all levels of the organisation to gather requirements, share findings, and build consensus around data-driven strategies.
• Take ownership of ongoing data quality initiatives, identifying gaps or inconsistencies and implementing robust solutions to address them.
• Managing relationships with external contractors when necessary, ensuring seamless handover of projects and maintaining high standards of output.
• Reporting directly to senior leadership on key metrics, project progress, and strategic recommendations based on thorough analysis.

Senior BI Analyst – What will you need?

• Advanced skills in Power BI, developing interactive dashboards and visualisations that translate complex data into clear business insights.
• Extensive experience managing end-to-end data transformation projects including migration from legacy systems to modern platforms.
• Proven ability to engage empathetically with stakeholders at all levels to understand their needs and communicate technical concepts effectively.
• Track record of improving data quality through rigorous validation methods and implementation of best practices in governance.
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as NetSuite for integrating financial or operational data into business intelligence workflows.
• Background in finance or corporate analysis is advantageous but not essential; willingness to learn about new industry sectors is valued.
