Analytics Engineer (7 Month FTC)

Analytics Engineer Birmingham (hybrid) £40,000 to £50,000 per annum Maternity Cover (7 Month FTC)

I am pleased to be partnering with a forward-thinking organisation as they seek an Analytics Engineer. You will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of strategic data products, support stakeholders across the organisation, and enhance your expertise in Power BI, Azure Data Factory, and Agile.

Analytics Engineer – What will you be doing?

• Developing strategic data products using Power BI that provide clear, actionable insights for stakeholders across the organisation.
• Designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines within Azure Data Factory to ensure accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery of information.
• Engaging with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate their needs into effective technical solutions that drive business outcomes.
• Utilising Azure DevOps to support CI/CD pipelines, version control management, and fostering collaborative development practices among team members.

Analytics Engineer – What will you need?

• Knowledge of Power BI including advanced data modelling techniques and DAX functions for building insightful dashboards.
• Experience designing and managing data pipelines within Azure Data Factory that guarantee consistent, trustworthy flow of information.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps for supporting CI/CD pipelines, version control processes, and collaborative development environments.
• Excellent communication abilities enabling you to present complex insights effectively to both technical audiences and non-technical stakeholders.
