Lead Azure Data Engineer
Lead Azure Data Engineer 6 Month Contract | Fully Remote | Outside IR35 We’re looking for a hands-on Lead Azure Data Engineer to deliver a new Azure-based reporting solution for a UK based data consulting firm.
You’ll be building an end-to-end data reporting solution on Azure, pulling data from multiple third-party systems into an Azure SQL environment, transforming it with Azure Data Factory, and surfacing insights through Power BI dashboards.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Designing and delivering Azure-based data pipelines (Azure SQL, Data Factory Azure Databricks).
- Developing Power BI dashboards and ensuring smooth integration between data sources and visualisations.
- Automating existing manual reporting processes.
- Enabling data-driven decision-making across multiple business sites.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience with Azure SQL, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Databricks
- Strong understanding of end-to-end data pipeline development.
- Experience automating and streamlining reporting workflows.
- Able to work independently and deliver remotely with minimal supervision.
