Senior Data Engineer

Senior Data Engineer Remote £60,000 to £70,000 per annum Permanent

I am currently looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join an Azure-native data team. This role is key to maintaining and evolving their data platform. You will work on data integration, ETL pipelines, analytics, and AI.

Senior Data Engineer – What will you be doing?

• Designing, building, and optimising Azure Data Factory pipelines.
• Working with SQL Server (designing and populating data schemas), Azure Data Lake, and Power BI.
• Integrating machine learning and AI models into our data processes.
• Collaborating within an Agile Scrum environment using Azure DevOps for backlog management and version control.
• Contributing to mentorship and knowledge sharing within the team.
• Exploring future capabilities with Azure Synapse Analytics.

Senior Data Engineer – What will you need?

• Expertise in setting up, configuring, and maintaining Azure Data Factory pipelines for efficient ETL processes.
• Power BI skills.
• Advanced knowledge of SQL.
• Experience with Git (or other version control systems) within Azure DevOps for integration with CI/CD.
• Agile Scrum skills, managing work items in Azure DevOps.
• Strong documentation practices for data pipelines, analytics models and processes.
