BI Manager Coventry £70,000 to £80,000 per annum (additional £6,000 car allowance) Permanent

Our client is on the hunt for a Business Intelligence Manager to join their dynamic team. This role is pivotal in driving change and leading a group-wide data transformation program. The successful candidate will be responsible for heading a team of Business Intelligence & Data Platform Specialists across multiple locations, ensuring work is carried out to agreed standards and methodologies. With an emphasis on collaboration and communication, this role offers the opportunity to influence stakeholders and foster a supportive team environment.

BI Manager – What will you be doing?

• Head a team of Business Intelligence & Data Platform Specialists across multiple locations.
• Responsible for the operation of a group wide centre of excellence providing BI and Data Platform services to multiple business units.
• Review working process and methodologies to ensure a flexible robust solution is maintained.
• Actively develop team to ensure that work is carried out to agreed standards and methodologies.
• Serve as an escalation point for internal queries.
• Detailed work planning and resource allocation.

BI Manager - What will you need?

• Strong management background with experience of building and managing high performing technical teams.
• Strong background in Business Intelligence & Data Platform.
• Advanced knowledge of data warehousing and modelling principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server T-SQL / SSIS / SSRS / SSAS / Power BI / Azure.
• Great people management skills, ability to recruit, develop and coach team members.
• Excellent communication skills essential as is the ability to communicate clearly with both business and technical stakeholders.
