Data Migration Lead

Data Migration Lead (CLM) Birmingham £70,000 to £90,000 per annum Permanent

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Data Migration Lead to join their expanding team. You will play a pivotal role in managing vendor contracts and third-party risk, delivering supply chain effectiveness and enabling Source-to-Pay activity through various platforms.

Data Migration Lead – What will you be doing?

• Define and own the data governance strategy for vendor contracts within the CLM platform.
• Act as the primary custodian of all contract-related data.
• Collaborate with legal, procurement, and IT teams to align data with organizational policies.
• Develop and execute a comprehensive data migration strategy.
• Lead the assessment of legacy systems for data extraction, transformation, and loading into the new platform.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors for seamless migration process.
• Define and implement data cleansing processes.
• Perform detailed validation and reconciliation to ensure accuracy of migrated data.
• Communicate progress and relevant updates to project drivers.

Data Migration Lead – What will you need?

• Solid background in data governance, migration or data management.
• Proven experience in leading data migration projects.
• Strong knowledge of Legal Contracts and the Contract process.
• Expertise in data modelling, mapping and transformation techniques.
• Proficiency in data management tools.
• Experience with data validation and testing methodologies.
• Knowledge of data privacy and compliance regulations.
• Strong project management skills.
