Our client, a rapidly expanding SaaS business within the finance sector, is on the hunt for a seasoned Senior Data Engineer. This is an exciting opportunity to join a team that has doubled in size over the past year due to an extensive and demanding client base. The successful candidate will work closely with the Lead Data Engineer, focusing on data modelling, data pipelining, data warehouse development and more. What you'll do:

As a Senior Data Engineer, your role will be pivotal in supporting our client's growth within the finance sector. You'll collaborate with the Lead Data Engineer to deliver high-demand data projects, developing and maintaining robust data pipelines and models. Your expertise in Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL DB, Azure Databricks and PowerBI will be crucial in your day-to-day tasks. Additionally, you'll contribute to the development of the company's data warehouse using Kimball modelling techniques. Serving external clients through effective data management will also be a key part of your role.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Senior Data Engineer position brings solid experience with the Azure Data Platform to the table. Your proficiency in Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL DB, Azure Databricks and PowerBI will be essential for success in this role. Experience with DWH/Kimball modelling techniques is expected. Desirable skills include knowledge of CI/CD and Agile methodologies, API experience (particularly any function apps or C#), systems integration experience, and experience in reporting/data modelling geared towards PowerBI.
