Our client is on the hunt for a talented Power BI Developer to join their dynamic Business Intelligence team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from developing data models to creating dashboards and reports that provide valuable insights to the business. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our client's BI solutions.

What you'll do:

As a Power BI Developer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of business intelligence within the organisation. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include designing, developing, and maintaining Power BI and SSRS reports. You'll also be tasked with performance tuning and developing new reporting tables using SQL. Collaboration is key in this role as you'll work closely with various departments to understand their business requirements and translate them into specifications. From inception to completion, you'll oversee end-to-end development while ensuring timely delivery, effective communication, and alignment with departmental objectives. Additionally, you'll create and maintain documentation for BI solutions, including data models, processes, and user guides.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Power BI Developer role brings a wealth of experience in similar roles. With at least 3 years' experience under your belt, you have strong proficiency with SQL as well as Power BI/DAX and SSRS. Your previous experience with query optimisation and performance tuning sets you apart from the rest. You're known for your highly analytical mindset which aids in solving complex business problems. Your excellent stakeholder management skills ensure smooth collaboration across departments. Being self-motivated, you take initiative in your tasks while your forward-thinking approach keeps you ahead of the curve.

The role offers a salary of u pot £55,000 in addition to a range of benefits and the opportunity for hybrid worknig - with the need to be in the office circa once per week. This can be extended for exceptional candidates.
