AI Manager -Top London Law Firm

About our client: Our client is a Magic Circle law firm with offices across different countries. We are looking for an an experienced AI Manager to lead their efforts to leverage emerging technologies, particularly AI, to enhance operational excellence within legal services. This role will report to CIO.

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for initiating, implementing, and integrating innovative initiatives and technologies to enhance the quality of our legal services.
• Stakeholder Engagement and Leadership: Lead engagement with senior leadership (CIO, COO, CCO, and Partners) to ensure technology innovation initiatives are aligned with the firm’s strategic goals. Present progress and outcomes to secure buy-in for new initiatives. Implement new AI technology in the business.
• Mentor and support team members, enabling them to take ownership of day-to-day activity while overseeing major projects and key deliverables.
• Technology Innovation Initiatives: Collaborate with internal teams and third-party partners to enable successful implementation and roll-out of technology solutions.

Job Requirement:

• In depth knowledge of current AI trends including Generative AI, NLP, ML, and legal-specific AI applications (e.g. document automation, legal research, contract analysis).
• Experience with data science, data and solution architecture, machine learning, generative AI, and other AI-related technologies, with a strong understanding of agile methodologies.
• Ability to evaluate and implement AI tools in a safe, ethical, and compliant way, including understanding regulatory and data protection risks.
