What you'll do:
As a Corporate Tax Consultant, your role will be pivotal in ensuring the firm's compliance with income and indirect tax filings. You will be involved in monitoring tax regulations and legislation, as well as managing the firm's domestic and international tax strategies. Your ability to provide valuable input into key business decisions will be crucial. You will also manage cross-border working arrangements, establish partnerships with key business functions, and proactively monitor international tax legislative changes. Your role will also involve managing tax compliance, audits, and reporting within the UK, Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA).
* Provide tax considerations into key business decisions
* Manage and advise on cross-border working arrangements including permanent establishment matters
* Establish and maintain close partnership with key business functions
* Proactively monitor international tax legislative changes and assess impact on the business
* Manage tax compliance, audits and reporting within UK and Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA)
* Review quarterly effective tax rates for US GAAP and IFRS reporting
* Develop and mentor junior team members, providing technical training and support
* Support innovation and process efficiency initiatives
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Corporate Tax Consultant role will bring proficient UK Corporation Tax knowledge and experience. You should hold ACCA/CIMA/CA or ATT/CTA qualifications along with 8+ years of UK Corporation tax work experience in Practice or Industry. Strong project management skills are essential for this role. Experience of working in collaborative teams is highly desirable as you will be expected to develop and mentor junior team members. Your ability to work with virtual teams across varying regions towards common goals will be crucial.
