We are in search of a highly motivated Tax Assistant Manager to join the Family Office & Private Clients team based in Nottingham. This role is an opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of high-net-worth individuals and provide bespoke tax advice on a range of assignments. The successful candidate will be part of one of the world's largest and most respected consultancy businesses, known for its commitment to quality service and supportive working environment.
As a Tax Assistant Manager, your role will be pivotal in managing a diverse portfolio of high-net-worth clients. You will be responsible for providing comprehensive personal tax advice across various areas such as inheritance tax, capital gains tax, income tax, and international tax matters. Your ability to project manage tax advisory assignments while ensuring all deadlines, risk management and compliance procedures are met will be crucial. Additionally, you will oversee the performance and career development of partly and newly qualified staff.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Tax Assistant Manager position is a qualified accountant or tax advisor with experience working in a personal-tax-focused environment. You have consistently demonstrated academic excellence throughout your career and possess an insightful understanding of the issues facing private clients. Your ability to work both independently and as part of a team will be essential in this role. A commitment to clients, colleagues, and the organisation is expected along with high-level analytical skills and a commercial approach to resolving issues and providing advice. Strong interpersonal skills along with robust oral and written communication skills are also required.
