What you'll do:
As a Tax Manager, you will play an integral role in managing various aspects of the Group’s UK and international tax compliance obligations. You will be responsible for reviewing direct and indirect tax returns prepared by outsourced service providers for the management companies in the Group. Your role will also involve providing tax support for audited financial statements, maintaining a compliance calendar to ensure all tax filing requirements are met, and assisting with the management of tax payments in various jurisdictions. You will also have the opportunity to liaise with advisors on preparation of Transfer Pricing documentation and reporting requirements.

  • Review direct and indirect tax returns prepared by outsourced service providers for the management companies in the Group
  • Provide tax support for audited financial statements, including preparation of numbers and disclosures
  • Maintain and manage a compliance calendar to ensure tax filing requirements are met in all locations
  • Assist with management of tax payments in various jurisdictions, including direct and indirect taxes, as well as withholding tax and employment taxes
  • Liaise with advisors on preparation of Transfer Pricing documentation and reporting requirements under CBCR, FATCA and CRS matters including registration and compliance
  • Monitor international tax developments and other projects as directed
  • Work with local advisors where appropriate to provide tax advice on miscellaneous matters
  • Interact with various other internal departments including Finance, Operations, Legal, Compliance, and HR

What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Tax Manager position will bring at least five years of relevant tax compliance and reporting experience within a Professional Services firm. Experience of working in an in-house tax team is preferred. You will hold a relevant recognised qualification (ACA, CTA, or equivalent) and have a process and improvement-oriented mindset. Your strong work ethic and ability to work independently will be key to your success in this role. You will also possess excellent analytical skills and judgment, along with strong technical proficiency with MS Excel.

  • At least 5 years of relevant tax compliance and reporting experience within a Professional Services firm
  • Experience of working in an-house tax team preferred
  • Relevant recognized qualification (ACA, CTA, or equivalent)
  • Process and improvement-oriented mindset
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work independently
  • Excellent analytical skills and judgment
  • Strong technical proficiency with MS Excel
  • Ability to multi-task as well as meet deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal skills and exceptional organizational skills
  • Knowledge of Workday preferred
