Senior Corporate Tax Analyst - Multinational manufacturing business - Wokingham (with flexible working) - Circa £65k-£75k plus bonus and benefits package

Robert Walters are hiring for a Senior Corporate Tax Analyst for a leading international speciality manufacturing business.

This is a permanent role based in their Wokingham office, but supporting flexible / remote working.

Working as part of a top calibre in-house tax team, the Senior Tax Analyst will be responsible for a variety of corporate and international tax issues that affect the business in the EMEA region.

Corporate tax return preparation is outsourced and though this person will support that process, this means that the role is less compliance-heavy than many similar roles at this level.

As a result there will be a greater focus on advisory work, business partnering, and a variety of international tax projects, alongside tax provisioning and ongoing legal entity simplification work.

Responsibilities include:

• Quarterly tax provisioning for European entities
• Preparing and reviewing corporate tax provisions and disclosures for statutory accounts
• Supporting outsourced corporate tax return preparation
• Co-ordinate and support legal entity rationalisation projects
• Co-ordination of transfer pricing documentation
• Involvement in any tax advisory, restructuring and Transfer Pricing work that is being carried out in Europe
• Regular tax project work
• Tax business partnering and responding to tax queries from the business.

The company is looking for a qualified accountant or tax advisor (ACA / ACCA / ICAS / CIMA / CA / CTA) with good UK corporate tax / direct tax experience.

They are willing to consider candidates from the newly-qualified level up to those with significant post-qualification experience - The successful candidate could come from either a practice or in-house background.
